PAYMENT FOR SERVICES
Cardea Home Health provides care on a fee for services basis. Generally, patients are covered by health insurance policies or state and/or federal entitlement programs. When only a portion of the cost is covered by those benefits or when the patient is not eligible for assistance through these programs, the patient is billed for the service provided.
Any medical equipment you need, we will deliver to your home.
Office hours are 10am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Agency staff will be available to answer calls after normal office hours, on weekends, and holidays and/or will return your call immediately.
The home health service is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing an acute or serious problem such as pain, fever, difficulty breathing, persistent vomiting/diarrhea, or prefuse bleeding, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
After hospitalization, most people prefer to heal at home. Similarly, the elderly prefer to stay home rather than go to a skilled nursing facility. Home health care can provide a variety of benefits to support activities of daily living. Cardea Home Health Care Specialists can help you adapt your home to fit your changing needs.
All services are coordinated with your Physician. Scheduling of visits is according to the Plan of Treatment approved by your Physician.
CARDEA HOME HEALTH will inform you of the frequency of visits and the approximate time of each visit. If there are any changes in scheduling, CARDEA will inform you in advance. If you need to change time and date, please notify our office in advance.
